​​Hi! My name is George!

I have a qualification in psychology and OHS management, and an extensive background working in disability support and care.

I am extremely passionate about seeing participants achieve the best outcome, and pursue their best possible lives. I am excited to be a part of Turning Point Support so that I can continue making meaningful contributions to the lives of my participants!

I bring a positive attitude, a passion for treating everyone as an individual and an equal, and a genuine interest in hearing YOUR story and doing my best to ensure this next chapter is the best one yet!

My hobbies include playing video games, making model kits, and reading all kinds of books and comics!

BEKK

Support Coordinator

​​Hello, my name is Bekk!

I have had the privilege of working within the disability and mental health sector over the past 15 years.

I have worked in lots of varying roles including Support Worker, Day Programs Coordinator, DES employment, Behaviour support, Service Coordination and Local Area Coordination. I also have worked as a Mental Health Peer Worker with a lived experience.

I have an absolute passion for working along side a person while they achieve their goals in life.

I pride myself in having open and honest and clear communication with you and your supports. No lingo here! I would love to listen to you and work with you to understand your needs so I can support you on your journey.

In my spare time I like to go op shopping with my two gorgeous girls. We search for material that we repurpose and learn to sew into new items like dresses and bags.

Hi my name is Suela!

I am a qualified Social Worker and have a background in Child Protection. I also have a Graduate Certificate in Disability Studies and a Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy. Through Child Protection I have supported children, young people and their families with their NDIS plans and worked closely with Support Coordinators to support our families. I have worked with vulnerable families to support them in overcoming adversities and empowering them to independence.  

I am passionate about meeting new people and supporting them in the best way possible to achieve their goals and live life to their fullest. I look forward to meeting new people and feel privileged to be part of people’s stories. I always love being challenged as it pushes me to do my best possible work and achieve the best outcomes for the people I am working with.

In my spare times I love to spend time with my kids and family. We love spending time at the beach, and you will always find sand in our car or home. I love to cook, to entertain and I have made it my goal to grow my own herb garden.

Hi my name is Emma!

I have over 25 years experience working in the health sector with my background and qualifications in Community Service & Health, Nutrition, Counselling and Health Promotion.

 

I am passionate about a holistic approach to health and empowering people in their lives. I am an empathetic listener and I enjoy getting to know people and what makes them tick! I love being organised, creative and I have a fun sense of humour.  I look forward to working with you.

In my spare time I like to go for long hikes in nature or swim in the ocean! If these are not achievable a simple deep breath and focus on mother nature around me helps me feel grounded! Coffee also helps!

Hi! My name is Michelle!

I have a Bachelor of Psychology and have a Diploma in Community Services. I have experience in the NDIS, youth and aged care sectors supporting people of all walks of life to achieve their goals and live their best life!

I have my own lived experience of a disability that I have had since I was young. I understand the complexities of the system, the importance of feeling heard and having a reliable support network to help you through. I am passionate about using a person-centred approach to empower you to achieve your goals, celebrate your wins and be there for you when times get tough. I believe in the power of a positive mindset and will always try and see the bright side to any situation!

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my partner and 2 beautiful children. I love being out in nature whether it be down by the beach or finding a hidden creek on a nature trail. I love to read, play video games, paint and draw!

I am passionate about connecting with you, hearing your story and helping you to achieve your desired goals. I feel privileged to be part of people's lives and to be with them for their whole journey.

I am a great listener and approach everyone in an empathetic and nonjudgmental way.

In my spare time I love reading, cooking, exercising, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors.

Hi, I’m Kitty!

I have an Honours Degree in Psychology and a Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. With a background in youth support work, I am passionate about providing personalised care and guidance to assist people to gain confidence, expand their knowledge and empower them to reach their goals. I am very excited to be part of this supportive team as it enables me to provide you with the most relevant and up-to-date information regarding your NDIS plan, as well as to provide tailored and personalised support for you as an individual. I will support you to ensure you have a thorough understanding of your rights and options regarding the NDIS services so that you can feel confident you are receiving the best possible resources and supports available to you. Supporting you throughout your journey to living your best life.  

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and my two beautiful kelpie dogs. I love to cook, and I also love baking decorative cakes. My hobbies include exercising, reading and spending time outdoors in the sun.

I have over 10 years experience in the disability sector with qualifications in both Individual Support and Early Childhood Education. I have supported people from a range of backgrounds and have a particular interest in working with vulnerable children and their families.

 

I love being a Support Coordinator and Recovery Coach because I feel naturally drawn to empowering individuals to feel understood, included and knowledgeable in the decisions made about their life. I would love to listen to your story and goals so we can work together to create the life you want!

My diverse background in Disability, Community Services, and Social Work reflects a deep commitment to understanding and addressing the needs of my clients from various angles. My journey has been incredibly rewarding, and my dedication to all that I do is empowering individuals to live life to the fullest.

My multicultural background adds a unique dimension to my work. Born in Kenya and now residing in Australia, I bring a wealth of cultural diversity and richness to my interactions creating space for everyone to express themselves authentically and feel affirmed in their identities.

I love working as a Support Coordinator/Recovery Coaching because of it's strong emphasis on empowerment maximising on the strength and resilience of every individual. Everyone has a unique story and it is always a pleasure to listen to these stories and guiding individuals toward authenticity and fulfillment.

I am a qualified Social worker with a background in Psychology. I have had the privilege of working in different countries with people from multicultural backgrounds. I worked in customer service and administration roles for over 10 years before I found my passion and purpose in life – working together with people to help them live their life to the fullest! Nothing gives me more satisfaction than seeing my people happy and hearty. As a social worker, I have worked in child protection and health area. 

 

I am caring, trustworthy and an open communicator. I believe Active listening is the key to meaningful Support Coordination, and this is the belief that drives my approach as a Support Coordinator and Psychosocial Recovery Coach. I would love to hear your story and work together to achieve your dreams and goals.

I am a dedicated social worker with a Master's of Social Work and over 15 years of experience in providing comprehensive support to individuals with complex needs. My expertise spans working with families, adolescents, and individuals facing a range of challenges, with a particular focus on child protection, family support, and case management. I am deeply committed to connecting clients with the resources they need to enhance their well-being, promote independence, and empower them to lead fulfilling lives.
I take a person-centered, compassionate approach to my work, prioritising empowerment, advocacy, and the provision of tailored support. I believe in the importance of a collaborative, community-based model of care, ensuring individuals have access to the services and opportunities that best meet their needs. My professional journey has enabled me to develop a thorough understanding of how to navigate complex support systems, always with the goal of achieving positive, sustainable outcomes for those I serve.

I truly believe that support is the key element in helping individuals navigate life challenges empowering them to overcome obstacles and achieve their personal goals.

I actually love hearing about others passions and interests, but here are some of mine. Staying active, running, exploring nature or basking in a scenic view, playing with my 3 kids, delicious food, a morning coffee and a good crime podcast.

Hi, I’m Vera!

With over seven years of experience in the aged care and disability sector, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds in both direct care and leadership roles. I am deeply passionate about providing support and making a positive impact in people’s lives, and I find the greatest fulfillment in being of service to those in need.

I hold a Bachelor’s in Social Sciences, a Certificate in Disability, and a Certificate IV in Child, Youth, and Family Intervention.

My approach to work is guided by integrity, honesty, and transparency, with a strong emphasis on clear and accurate communication.
As a support coordinator, I combine frontline experience and organisational skills to help participants navigate the NDIS effectively.

Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my family and playing with my kids. I also enjoy exploring cafes and restaurants and experimenting with new recipes at home.
