QUESTIONS

WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE SUPPORT COORDINATION OR RECOVERY COACHING IN MY PLAN?

HOW DO I START THIS SERVICE WITH TURNING POINT SUPPORT?

If you do not have this service funded in your NDIS plan, and you are feeling unsure about how to get started with your plan or what services to link in with, please contact your  Local Area Coordinator (LAC) or Planner. They will be able to discuss your options and assist you should you require this additional support.

Alternatively please get in contact with Kate via the email address on this website as there are other options on how you can access support to understand and get the most out of your NDIS Plan.

To refer yourself, a loved one, or a participant, please contact Kate via email. Her email address can be found on this website. Kate will then send out a Referral Form, which discuss' goals, location and preference for worker so we can match you with the best suited Support Coordinator or Recovery Coach. The Support Coordination or Recovery Coach will then get in contact with the participant or best contact directly and arrange an initial meeting to go through the NDIS Plan, sign a Service Agreement and complete a Support Plan.

Turning Point Support are transparent, and will only accept a referral if it can be allocated at that time (no waitlists here!). If we cannot allocate immediately (which most of the time we can), we will offer you an interim coordinator (often our Director, who has been a support coordination for several years) until you can be allocated. Alternatively we may provide options of other great providers we know.  We will always be up-front and honest so you can decide what is best for you.

WHAT SETS TURNING POINT SUPPORT APART FROM THE REST?

We believe in doing our very best and thoroughly enjoy the role. The group manage their own case loads, so they will never take on more clients than they are capable of servicing.

Thegroup have check-in sessions, to ensure they are up to date on anything new and have a strong understanding of all things NDIS.

We have a group of contractors who have specific knowledge and skills in a range of different disabilities. Turning Point Support supports people from all different backgrounds, cultures, genders and sexualities.

WHAT IF I WANT TO PROVIDE FEEDBACK TO TURNING POINT SUPPORT?

Turning Point Support really value your feedback and are always looking to do even better and provide the best service possible to our participants. If you would like to provide feedback (Good or Bad) you will be sent a feedback form along with our Welcome Pack when you start with Turning Point Support. If you do not wish to provide the feedback directly to us, there are other options on our feedback forms, such as providing feedback directly to the NDIS.
